Our Dim Sum - The Fourth Generation
Chef Meishan Lu proudly continues a culinary legacy rooted in over a century of dim sum expertise across four generations. Originating from Canton's renowned Beiyuan Cuisine, her family's heritage is deeply rooted in culinary excellence, dating back to 1928, with members of her family boasting the title of ‘certified master dim sum chef’ and several others adeptly skilled in the art, their expertise was handed down before finally settling in Miami, and then Tampa in 2022.
Following his education in Culinary Arts at Johnson & Wales University, partner and Chef Joseph Hixon (Joe) is also dedicated to preserving these cherished traditions. After several years of military service, Joe began to hone his fine dining skills while acting as chef for several 5-star international hotels and restaurants throughout Miami, and learned from well-known celebrity chefs like Diego Oka and Scott Conan.
